Knee, Weight Loss and Green

Just a quick post today.

I didn't run this weekend again because the knee is still acting up. It may be time for me to actually get it checked by a doc. Ugh, if I spend the money on an appointment, only to be told just to rest it some more I'm going to be angry.


Today (or I guess yesterday) kicks off Viv's Weight Loss Challenge. This is fabulous timing because it will help me get closer to my wonderful new bike.



My blog is green! I stumbled across this sweet movement when I was doing some research for work. I thought it was great and so I slapped it on my blog. If you're big into the green stuff (or just try to be mindful of it when you can) check out the 350 Challenge.

  6. Good luck with the weight loss! It could be your knee is being pulled by another muscle in your thighs are calves. Do you roll them? Hope you figure it out soon :-)

  7. TOTALLy understand the knee frustration...last time MRI and the full deal to be told that it is up to me to have surgery or not...uh, is that decision not what I pay the doc for?
    I guess I am too late for the challenge...need to loose 5 lbs from the boat...will follow along!

  8. Yes, get that knee looked at. Even if the doc says to just rest it at least you will know what's going on with it.
