If You're the Praying Type

by - Wednesday, October 24, 2012

If you're the praying type, I'd like to ask if you'd do me a favor and keep my family in your prayers over the next few days.

We got word on Monday that my grandma doesn't have much time left, and yesterday the nurses suggested we call and say our goodbyes.

My grandma is almost 92.

The hospice nurses are estimating she has 24-72 hours.

It's sad, and it's hard. I don't really have good words for this.

But if you pray and you wouldn't mind keeping us in your prayers, it'd mean a lot.

  3. At least you'll be able to say your goodbyes. 92 is a noble age to live to, and I'm sure she's lead a rich life. Celebrate that with her in the last moments you have together.

  4. I'm sorry, Jess that is so sad. I also have a grandmother who is 92 and her conditions change week to week. Enjoy the time you have left with her, and I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Hi Jess, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be thinking of you. I just went through this exact same thing two weeks ago with my Grandma. As much as you don't want them to suffer anymore it's still so so hard. Knowing that the phone call is coming doesn't make it any easier. **hugs**
