Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!

This year I have quite a few things to be thankful for.

First, I'm thankful for my great friends and family.

I'm also thankful to finally be out of both of my air casts. It was a year ago tomorrow that I discovered my first stress fracture on a 10-mile run near my parents' house. And so began the saga of really crappy running injuries.

The one upside to wearing a boot? At least everyone on Metro is nice to you.

So I'm very grateful to have two healthy feet that I'm slowly introducing to physical activity again.

I'm thankful that despite all the injuries and having to drop out of many races during the year, I was also somehow able to set a new half marathon PR at the Nike Women's Half in April.

Three minute PR? On no training? Helllll yea!!! #fitfluential @runnikewomen

I'm thankful that this was the year I was finally able to ditch roommates and move into my very own apartment (apartment tour coming soon I promise!)

Relaxing after a day of meetings at the office.
I'm verrrrry thankful for the rooftop pool.

I'm thankful for coworkers who make going to work in the morning fun.

I'm thankful for many more things, but I'll spare you the very long post that would happen if I tried to write them all out.

Wishing you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving!
