I'm Falling Apart

Four days before the race and my knee is feeling achy, there's a giant blister on my pinky toe and all the foam rolling in the world doesn't seem to be loosening my IT bands.

Not cool legs. Not cool.

I have no idea what's going on with my knee. It started feeling achy on Sunday and yesterday I used one of my Arctic Ease wraps on it, which definitely seemed to help. It's not like it's a sharp pain or anything like that. It just feels extra tight. I'm hoping that with extra foam rolling and stretching this week that it will loosen in time for the race.

Or maybe it's phantom pains. That would be ideal.

As for the blister, I've tried to drain it more than once, but not much goop comes out and it's still pretty tender. I've still got a few more days to get the stupid thing to drain completely. I noticed on my run yesterday the blister bothered me for the first mile or so, but after that it wasn't so bad. So if nothing else, I at least know I can run on it.

I just wish all my random aches and pains would clear up in time for race day. I want to go into the race feeling strong, not battling a bunch of random pains.
