Who puts on makeup before they work out?!

by - Wednesday, January 07, 2009

My roommate from college sent me this because as she said, "here, you like fitness."

Some intern from Teen Vogue "worked out" with the girl who plays Little J in Gossip Girl.

This might be my favorite quote: "My thing about going to the gym is that I leave my bracelets on, and I put on my makeup the way I would do it in real life..."

Go read and go laugh. The pics are hilarious. Looks like she really broke a sweat.

The Biggest Loser last night was pretty good. That Laura chick annoyed the crap out of me though. Glad she's gone for now. I also pretty much loved Jerry and Estella. They are so cute, and come on who wasn't pulling for them to win the weigh in.

Ran 7 miles on the dreadmill yesterday....ew for the dreadmill. But 7 miles is the farthest I've run since I caught Black Death, so whooo.

  1. Congratulations on the hearty 7! Dreadmill or not.

Frankly, I don't blame these celebs for always wearing make-up. Otehrwise - BLAM! - they are on the cover of Star magazine under the banner "Celebrities Without Make-Up!"

  4. Nitmos is right. Celebrities have to look good all the time. It's their job. For regular people, we don't get paid to be as naturally sexy as we are, so no need to crank it up a notch for something like working out.

  5. I remember when I first started going to the gym on a regular basis when I was in college. I just couldn't get over the fact of those girls who had to cake on the makeup and big hoop earings just to stand on the eliptical machine for 30 minutes. And, I don't think they ever really broke a sweat. Drives me bonkers! LOL

It is funny that some people get all dolled up to work out. What's the point of that?

Good job on the treadmill. It's tough to go very long indoors. You made it farther than I ever have on that dreaded machine.

As for Biggest Loser - I was so bummed that half of them had to go home! Those people really need help - yikes!

  7. good job on the 7! keep that trend going and the black death will go away soon.

i too thought the biggest loser was a pretty good start. kelley was really upset that they were making 9 people leave. i mean why make them go all the way to california just to make that many people leave the first week? it's rediculous. the 30 day thing bothered me. the eliminations don't fall in 30 day intervals. why not say 4 weeks, or only 5 of you will be coming back? stupid producers.

  11. I put on make up when I go out. You can measure your effort by the length of the mascara streaks.
